Our magnifying pendant necklaces are always graded at +2.50.
As an accessory for occasional use, it adapts well to all prescriptions between +1.00 and +3.50.
The idea is that you hold the magnifiers to your nose and adjust the distance to the text you want to read.
We opted for this prescription because after consulting with several opticians, we concluded that it is the most versatile for the intended use of this accessory.
Nevertheless, if you need a stronger prescription, our frames are made of cellulose acetate, and an optician can fit them with your prescription without any problem.
Care
Our magnifiers are made from plant-based plastic materials, cellulose acetate, and organic lenses.
Therefore, they need to be handled with care to prevent scratches. Always try to keep necklaces and medallions separate when storing them, especially if the necklace is made of glass, as it can scratch the acetate and lenses.
For example, you can store the medallion in the protective pouch and keep the necklace outside of it. This way, you ensure that they don't rub together and remain scratch-free for longer.
Presentation and finishes
Our pendants come in a signature case with an inner bag to ensure their protection.
The frames are made of cellulose acetate (aluminum for the Architect series), organic lenses, and the necklaces vary depending on the model: brass, steel, leather, faux suede, velvet, glass, mother-of-pearl, natural stones, wood, bone.

Our magnifying glasses come with a +2.50 magnification effect, an intermediate prescription recommended by optical specialists and ophthalmologists for reading any text temporarily.
As they are for momentary use, they easily adapt to all needs, up to +3.50, by fixing the binoculars on your nose and adjusting the distance of that label or menu that we find so difficult to read!
Furthermore, when folded, the magnification stacks up to +5.00, doubling their power so that no small print resists them.
What if the prescription is still not enough?
We only supply our magnifying glasses with a +2.50 prescription because we believe it adapts well for occasional use for most users.
If you need a specific prescription, our frames are made of cellulose acetate, the material traditionally used in high-quality optics. This means your trusted optician can change the lenses without any problems and prescribe them especially for you, just like real glasses.
Are the lenses safe?
Absolutely! Our organic lenses meet the highest quality certifications. At Flippan’Look, we want to take care of both your look and your eyes.
Are the necklaces hypoallergenic?
Generally, yes, the metals we use for our chains comply with all quality standards. Spanish regulations are very strict in this regard, so none of our components contain toxic materials.
However, we understand that some people are more sensitive than others, so if any component causes an allergic reaction, please contact us and we will find a solution.
Do you prepare orders as gifts?
Yes! We always prepare your orders with great care, but you can also include in the delivery notes that you want us to prepare it with even more love.
