RIGHT TO INFORMATION

The Privacy Policy of FLIPPAN'LOOK, S.L. (hereinafter, Flippan'Look) is based, among other regulations, on the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data of natural persons (GDPR), and governs the processing of personal data carried out by Flippan'Look through its various channels, via the website https://flippanlook.com/ and its associated corporate links, or through other processing systems such as paper-based records.

2. FOR WHAT PURPOSES WILL YOUR DATA BE PROCESSED?

Personal data provided to Flippan'Look through its various communication channels or in connection with its services will be processed in order to handle your request (purchase), respond to any other information requests you may have made, and where applicable, to send you commercial communications about Flippan'Look's own services (for example, newsletter subscription).

The purpose will depend on the reason for which you initially provided your personal data. By way of non-exhaustive example, your data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Processing of Flippan'Look customer data, for the purpose of providing services.
  • Processing of Flippan'Look supplier data, for the management of the contractual relationship.
  • Processing of data to respond to information requests, queries or comments and to carry out follow-up.
  • Processing for the periodic sending of commercial communications about services, events and news related to our professional activity (for example, the newsletter).

Personal data will be retained for the duration of your relationship with Flippan'Look, or for the period required by law in each case. Your personal data will not be used by Flippan'Look to build commercial profiles. Personal data will be processed in a lawful, fair, transparent, adequate, relevant, limited, accurate and up-to-date manner. Flippan'Look undertakes to take all reasonable steps to ensure that inaccurate data is erased or rectified without delay.

The user guarantees that the data provided is true, accurate, complete and up to date, and accepts responsibility for any direct or indirect damage or loss arising from a breach of this obligation.

3. WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

The legal basis for processing your personal data is the management of the request you have submitted to Flippan'Look, the contractual relationship you maintain with Flippan'Look, your consent to the processing purposes described above, or situations in which processing is required by law or justified by a legitimate interest.

4. TO WHOM WILL YOUR DATA BE DISCLOSED?

Flippan'Look does not intend to transfer or disclose personal data held in its systems to third parties, except where you have expressly authorised this or where required or permitted by law.

For the provision of its services, Flippan'Look uses the following data processors, with whom it maintains the corresponding data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR:

  • Shopify Inc. (e-commerce platform): management of the online store, order processing and payments.
  • Klaviyo Inc. (email marketing platform): management of commercial communications and newsletter.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (digital advertising): management of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, including the use of tracking pixels for the measurement and optimisation of ads.
  • Shipping carriers (Correos Express, Zeleris, DHL, UPS, FedEx): management of shipments and deliveries.

International transfers: some of the data processors mentioned above (Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta) are based in or process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Such transfers are carried out under the appropriate safeguards established by the GDPR, in particular through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or pursuant to applicable adequacy decisions.

5. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS WHEN YOU PROVIDE YOUR DATA?

You have the right to access your personal data and to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where applicable, to request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You may request the restriction of processing, in which case Flippan'Look will retain your data only for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may also object to the processing of your data, in which case Flippan'Look will cease processing it unless there are legitimate grounds or reasons relating to the defence of potential claims. You may also request data portability and object to decisions based solely on automated processing.

In all cases, please include a copy of your identity document or equivalent proof of identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es) if you consider that your rights have not been properly addressed. For users outside Spain, you may contact the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Flippan'Look reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy in line with regulatory changes or guidance issued by the relevant data protection authorities.

6. SECURITY MEASURES

Taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing, as well as the risks of varying likelihood and severity to the rights and freedoms of users, Flippan'Look has, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR, implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including: measures to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services; measures to restore the availability of and access to personal data in a timely manner in the event of a physical or technical incident; and a process for regularly testing, assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of technical and organisational measures for ensuring the security of the processing.
